Great LED TV By J. T. Davis “made in usa junkie”

We have had this for about a month now, no issues what so ever! No sound issues like other reviewers. We think it’s an excellent TV for the money. Much better value than at our local stores.

Great picture, love the whole package

damn good buy By ghostbob

Even though we all know that with the technology progressing so fast that by the time we’ve purchased and used these products their out of date and need updating, with that said I’m glad to report that with this product line I’ll be able to update my equipment at least for a couple of years, then watch the technology.

Panels are important By E. Gray “Mr. Doiteasy” (Ocala, FL USA )

I read many of the reviews for this 32LE5300 tv and was a little hesitant to buy it. It is for a bedroom and had to fit in a corner cabinet. The size was right, the advertised picture and price were great, so I bought one thinking that the overall ratings must mean that it was a good tv. The caveat, of course, was that some did not like the picture if the set did not have the IPS panel. No big deal.

The set arrived from Amazon in great time and I set it up. The picture was just fine, until I moved off center. We have a computer desk off to the side at, maybe, a 45 to 50 degree angle. We often set there working and watch the tv. Not with this set. The VA panel had such a small viewing angle that it was just a bad picture. Straight on, fine. At an angle, really unacceptable. The colors just collapsed. Instead of a clear, sharp, colorful picture, we saw a somewhat fuzzy, washed out screen. I was amazed and very unhappy with the poor picture quality from that minimal angle. We made all adjustments we could trying to get it to sharpen up and become watchable. Finally decided that it just wouldn’t work.MORE PICTURES - CLICK HERE

I ordered a Panasonic LC-T32X30 to replace it. Amazon shipped quickly and I unplugged the LG, set up the Panasonic and was amazed at the difference. All the bad things about the LG with the VA panel that I mentioned above were great with the Panasonic. Good picture at all angles. Good color. Very viewable. Even thought the Panasonic was a 720, not a 1080, the picture was so much better I was most pleased.

Amazon is great with returns. I just went on line, said I wanted to return the LG, printed out the shipping label provided. Took it to UPS Store on my next trip in that direction. No problems, no hassles.

As I said in the title, Panels Are Important. The VA panel that LG put in this set is seriously deficient in viewing quality. I had seen an LG in a store and it had a great picture. Good viewing angles. Must have had an IPS panel which is much better in providing a wide view. If you are only going to watch this LG from straight on, I guess it would be a good set, but don’t move.

Research Homework Guru By Bear Down Alumni (Marana, Arizona)

My two rules are: always do your homework and never pay full price. This is a top of the line TV at an entry level price tag. I purchased the LG 32LE5300 from Amazon for $450 out the door with price protection and free 2 day prime shipping. The hardest part was waiting to receive the 1080p HDTV. You will love this TV and kick yourself if you do not buy it now. You cannot beat the 120hz that create 3D like picture quality on shows and movies. CGI movies seem real! There are no ghosts or blurred images. Zero glare next to a bright window. This was to replace an LG 1080i tube set and well worth the upgrade to 1080p for movies and wall mounting. The picture is so great, my wife is pressuring me to upgrade to the 55″ model for our living room. I am proud of this purchase along with the VideoSecu Articulating TV Wall Mount for 22″ – 37″ VESA 200 100 LED LCD TV Monitor Full Motion Bracket Free 6″ 3-Axis Magnetic Bubble Level 3V7. I stand by this product for the quality, features, price, and Amazon customer service.

Good price for all the features By RLove

Just what I was looking for as gift for older folks with new small apartment. Takes up much less room than old clunky large vacuum tube TV. Perhaps voice activated feature would be even better given older folks fear of technology (remotes). I would normally have bought a Vizio but the LG deal was too hard to pass up.

Best Set I’ve Owned By Thomas P. Krafft “thomaskrafft” (Eaton, Colorado)

I was most worried that the sound on this set might be inferior so I also ordered a sound bar, but in fact the sound quality is so good that I don’t need the sound bar. There are more connections than almost anyone would ever need. The controls are placed very subtly on the front lower frame instead of on the side as so many sets have. They are much like a classic iPod’s buttons–perfectly accessible yet hardly noticeable. The controls are extensive and you can even turn off the standby light if you like. The remote seems quite solid and complete, but with Dish Network I needed it only for the setup. The picture is perfectly sharp and clear from almost any angle, though I have no other set nearby to directly compare to. My only comment on picture quality is that film looks a bit like video during fast moving scenes. It isn’t too noticeable and I’ll quickly get accustomed to it. Overall I would highly recommend this set for quality at such a good price.

great tv for this price By Felipe Juliao “felojuliao24″ (miami, fl)

I first saw this tv last week, and when i was reading the reviews, I realized that there were many negative reviews,(VA Panels etc,).Im not a tv geek, im just a regular college student. So i decided to take a gamble with this tv, and really im astonished with the quality picture of this tv. The menu of the tv is really nice and easy to use I use this tv to watch tv with hdmi and to play my ps3. $449, for an LG LED 1080P is a very good price. The picture is crystal clear, and is perfect. Im glad i took a chance with this tv for the price. I hope this review helps.

Nice T.V By Shane B.

The T.V is nice and I am liking it a lot. I have been reading about the whole panel lottery stuff…I am not worried about it!! Maybe because I am not some geek that has all the time in the world to sit in front of my T.V and watch movies, play games, and whatever else they (the geeks) do when they are not playing war craft or other geek related things, to include but not limited to having a life…LOL…anyway…I have a few friends that have come by to inspect it and I have been told they don’t like it because the movies are to life like!!!???? So I think that is a good thing. I am just using a plan old DVD player that has a HDMI. This T.V is the most bang for my buck!!! But keep in mind I am not some techno geek, I am a normal guy that likes to watch T.V. Only you can prevent forest fires…

Buy this TV, it is worth it By John Waage

I have done a CONSIDERABLE amount of research on TV sets and all about today’s technologies regarding TVs. First things first, VA panel vs. IPS panel. Don’t know what the difference is because I don’t see any problems at all with this TV. This is honestly why I bought this TV. For 450 bucks, you will not find another TV that has 1) LED backlit feature, 2) 1080p, 3) 120hz trumotion refresh rate, 4) all of those other 3 things within a 32inch size. You might find another 32 inch LED buttttttt not 1080p or vice versa. This was the best buy at the best time for a great price. Please, take it from someone who extremely dislikes spending money like this and who has spent almost 4 full days literally researching the best TV’s out there. This was the one I picked and it is perfect for a bedroom. A lot of people who disliked this TV probably tried putting in a living room. Well then yeah, in that case, OF COURSE the sound isn’t going to be the best, but for a bedroom the sound is more than enough. Not to mention, optimal viewing distance for a 32inch tv is 4-7ft. Depending on how big your bedroom is, this set is perfect for mine. Great buy, absolutely worth the money if you are willing to spend money on a TV.
